| Unfortunately after 8 years of very happy times here, my current rural rental property is due to be sold .....and so I am in a position where I am looking for a tucked away small rental property, in Lincolnshire, in a 30 mile radius of Alford, where I can continue with my quiet country lifestyle.
1 or 2 bedrooms will be fine.. It doesn't even have to have mains electricity or an indoor loo.. I can cope with basic living. Water on site is an essential (a well or mains) and a dry roof and a woodstove or open fire will suffice for my heating.. I am a self employed mature reliable woman. I work from home. My passions are permaculture, self sufficiency and living in tune with nature/wildlife. I am organic and do not use any pesticides or other chemicals on my garden or on my livestock. I have excellent references from previous landlords and from my current landlord and also from the owners of land that I currently rent for my livestock. I am a very clean and tidy person and always pay my rent on time. I am willing to fix up and decorate a run down property and bring it back to life and am happy to rejuvenate unloved gardens or unmanaged pasture. I have lots of photos of the gardens and paddocks that I have cared for over the years. Any amount of land considered but a couple of acres would be great.. more if possible.An outbuilding is needed for feed bins/ hay and straw etc..I am happy to erect timber sheds for my goats . I have my own electric fencing and energisers so fencing is not an issue. I am almost self sufficient in food. I grow almost all my vegetables, herbs, fruit and I keep hens/ quail and geese for eggs, I have 4 dairy goats for milk and so I can make cheese and I have two driving ponies so I can get around (I don't own a car). I have one very well mannered daughter who still lives with me. I am seeking a small basic cottage or even a cabin on a piece of land with an outbuilding where I can continue to live the life that I love so very much. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE BIG OR MODERNISED. In fact the simpler the better. I am also willing to help out on your own farm or smallholding if that is required as part of the tenancy.
