| We are looking for a smallholding for long term let, anywhere in the UK. We have a small closed herd of Aberdeen Angus, Hampshire Down and Jacob sheep, poultry, goats for milking. At present we are renting land and buildings wherever we can and are desperate to get all the livestock and us together in one place. One son is a shepherd and contract shearer so travels all over England, the other is self employed farm worker also working all over.
Ideally would like somewhere with buildings and grazing, somewhere to continue growing veg and fruit and for our beehives. We do have working dogs (Australian Cattle dogs). We can supply excellent references and would be prepared to pay 6 months rent up front, also prepared to do up buildings, house etc at our cost for long term rent.
